Join us on Gunai/Kurnai Country on Tuesday 15 July for a celebration of culture and our shared journey to Treaty!
Our South East Community Gathering is a chance to come together, yarn with your elected Assembly Members and hear an update on the Statewide Treaty.
The Gathering will begin with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, with cultural activities and performances throughout the day — including dances from Djeetgung Girls, Boorun Boys and Gudu Dancers.
We’ll also hear from Gunai/Kurnai Elders and Community Members sharing stories of their Land, Sky and Waters, and the significance of their cultural landscapes that they care for.
A free morning tea and lunch will be provided.
No registrations are needed, just bring the family and come along!
