Did you know you can recycle AND raise money for the Treaty journey at the same time?
In some exciting news, the Assembly has recently been approved to receive donations from the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) across Victoria.
What is the CDS?
The CDS is a scheme where people in Victoria can get a 10-cent refund for every eligible container. The idea is that it will help increase recycling and minimise the number of recyclables ending up in landfill.
People in Victoria can now choose to direct their refunds directly to the Assembly as a donation!
Where and How to donate
There are three zones across Victoria. You can find out which Zone you are in and your closest donation location here.
Once you’re at the CDS location, donating should be simple:
- Select ‘Donation’ on the touchscreen.
- Choose ‘First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria’ from the options displayed.
- Take your receipt, and the Assembly will receive the donation electronically.
If the Assembly is not displayed on the screen, you should be able to enter our Donation Partner ID: C2000045639.
