Treaty is HERE! Legislation for Australia’s first Treaty between the Victorian Government and the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria has been introduced to the Victorian Parliament, to be debated and voted on over the next few months.
We’re inviting allies to join this webinar to learn about Australia’s first Treaty and how you can support it. The journey to Treaty for Victoria has been led by First Peoples for decades, and we need our allies to walk alongside us.
You’ll hear from an elected Assembly Member on the Treaty journey so far, what this first Statewide Treaty will deliver and how you can get involved in this historic moment.
There will be a chance to ask questions and learn about actions you can take to support the Assembly and Treaty.
